The Cross Cultural Health Care Program provided our organization, The Cambodian Family, with highly valuable knowledge and skills about professional medical and mental health interpretation with its two valuable courses under the category of Bridging the Gap. The Cambodian Family really appreciates the effectiveness and practicality of these courses and they really benefit both the employees, as well as our community members, who are in dire need of professional medical interpreters. Both of our instructors, Tamas and Dulce, have their own unique methods of training our team and we found them very effective, efficient, engaging, and friendly. In just a short period of time, we managed to learn many new topics thanks to our instructors. Our team has thoroughly enjoyed the training and is well equipped to enhance their interpretation skills. We hope to continue working with the CCHCP for future programs and training opportunities and strongly recommend CCHCP to those looking to build their team’s interpretation capacity.
I would highly recommend the Cross Cultural Health Care Program. Their Cultural Navigator training allows you to lay down the foundation of the main concepts of what it is to be a Cultural Navigator. It also allows for one to realize the important role we have to foster that relationship between communities and public health.

I enjoyed the Cultural Navigator training that I received from The Cross Cultural Health Care Program (CCHCP). I found the information very helpful to my current field of work in community health. The training also helped me develop better strategies to help improve the linguistical and cultural breakdowns/gaps that affected the populations that I'm currently responsible for serving.

Working with CCHCP was seamless from start to finish. They made the partnership process easy and enjoyable, furthermore, the training content shared by the instructor was relevant and easy to digest. We received great feedback from participants who attended. All that to say, I would highly recommend CCHCP for your Equity and Inclusion needs and we would absolutely partner with them again in the future.

I must say the Bridging the Gap program was more than I could have expected. The material, the instructor, the class size, everything from beginning to end was a great experience. If you were looking for a medical interpreter training, this is it. You won't regret it.

My experience working with CCHCP has been enjoyable and I appreciate the continued support I receive. I attended the first online Bridging the Gap (BTG) Training of Trainers (ToT) in July 2020 and it was a great experience. The instructor was excellent and kept the entire class engaged. I really enjoyed getting to know my peers, learning from their many years of experience in the industry, and unique pedagogical skills.

Whether you are new to equity and inclusion work or far along the path to shaping a more equitable world, CCHCP can help you and your organization get to the next level. This is exactly what they did for La Clinica. Their team of equity leaders and research support aided in the design of our patient and staff equity satisfaction survey and helped us make sense of the results to plan our next steps. They are smart, thoughtful, approachable, and kind-hearted and they bring all these talents to bear.

The most valuable element to me was having a smaller group, which brings a more intimate feel to the training.
