Upcoming Workshops and Trainings

Our Equity & Inclusion team is launching several new workshops and trainings. One of the workshops is on Transforming Team Collaboration. During this workshop, team leaders, managers, directors, and/or supervisors in the health care and human services sectors will learn how to use proven tools to create strong team alignment and shared purpose and accountability while cultivating trust and continuous learning. This is a highly interactive workshop that takes place over a series of four 3-hour sessions for a total of 12 hours.

Another new workshop is on Human-Centered Design Thinking for Health Care and Human Services. This is also a highly interactive, 4-session, 12-hour workshop. This workshop will teach you essential tools and frameworks that you can use to innovate within your organization, helping address health disparities and create user-centered solutions. Learn how to facilitate workshops, lead ideation sessions, and implement impactful changes that make a difference in diverse communities.

We also are offering a free webinar on The Role of Allyship: From Empathy to Action in Professional Settings. This webinar explores the transformative potential of allyship as a proactive approach to creating inclusive workplaces. Register below for one of our upcoming 1-hour webinars.

Our 4-hour online workshop on Navigating Bias, Addressing Microaggressions, and Building Allyship provides participants with practical tools and strategies to strengthen awareness of and mitigate implicit biases, address microaggressions, and cultivate effective allyship. Through engaging discussions, case studies, and actionable frameworks, participants will enhance their ability to both address microaggressions and to support both patients and colleagues from marginalized communities.

In the Human-Centered Design Thinking Workshop for Health Care and Human Services workshop you will learn how to apply essential tools and frameworks to lead innovative, user-centered solutions to further enable health equity in the communities you serve. This hands-on, four-session course will equip you with the knowledge and skills to drive positive outcomes by focusing on the experiences and journeys of the community members facing specific health care equity barriers that your organization would like to address. You will gain expertise in key tools and methodologies used in design thinking, such as empathy mapping, persona creation, journey mapping, ideation and prototyping, and and how to apply these practices within your own teams and organizations to address health and social disparities.
