I would highly recommend the Cross Cultural Health Care Program. Their Cultural Navigator training allows you to lay down the foundation of the main concepts of what it is to be a Cultural Navigator. It also allows for one to realize the important role we have to foster that relationship between communities and public health.
I enjoyed the Cultural Navigator training that I received from The Cross Cultural Health Care Program (CCHCP). I found the information very helpful to my current field of work in community health. The training also helped me develop better strategies to help improve the linguistical and cultural breakdowns/gaps that affected the populations that I'm currently responsible for serving.

CTC training provides a thorough introduction to the practices of Patient Navigation. It provides very good learning materials and it enhanced my practice as a Patient Guide. My tutor was always encouraging and very positive.

Great teaching, well organized and comprehensive.
Medical Interpreter
Please keep on doing this; it is very educational and the knowledge I have acquired I will cherish for a long time!
Medical Interpreter
I feel very useful and confident that I am actually able to guide and make some patients confident as they navigate our medical systems.
Medical Interpreter
As a medical interpreter, our role was just limited to interpretation before the training. However, after the patient guide training, our role has expanded and we have more freedom to educate and inform our patients about the health care system, the importance of primary and preventative care, etc.
Medical Interpreter
We are really grateful. The training has created cohesion for the team and increased the level of professionalism. It has made the interpreting staff feel valuable, as they support patients and contribute to the hospital as a whole.
Program Manager
After the training, you’ll have a clear idea of the role of a patient guide and what you can accomplish.
