CCHCP's Training of Trainers Programs

Our Training of Trainers (ToT) programs provide participants with the curriculum, skills, and expertise necessary to offer the following courses at their organization or in their communities: (1) Bridging the Gap: Medical Interpreter Training (BTG); (2) Connecting to Care: Patient Guide Training (CTC); and/or (3) Equity & Inclusion/Cultural Competency Training (EI). While CCHCP directly conducts trainings in medical interpreting and in equity and inclusion/cultural competence for health care, human services, and language services organizations, we believe in the value of multiplying results by preparing trainers who work within those organizations. CCHCP's unique Training of Trainers (ToT) programs build the internal capacity of organizations with a set of curricula and instruction developed over 25 years of experience. Our facilitators work with trainers sponsored by their organization, training them to become licensed to train our course material internally within their organization and in their community. During the two-year (renewable) license period, trainers receive continued support and resources to enhance their development as trainers.
